Why are these changes so important. Imagine having a site that uses ePN (EBAY Partner Network) for monetizing and one day your items are gone. This has happened and can be expected to happen again. If your niche falls into a changed category you will need to change the number before they go into effect. That’s the tricky part. Sometimes the new numbers start at different times of the month.
The changes in January 2009 are fairly extensive. Electronics to toys have been moved and changed in some way. EBay has even added a button for users to suggest category changes which could lead to even more comprehensive changes.
