It would appear that ePN dose want to help affiliates. The vetting process has made it more difficult to become a eBay Partner, but those who have survived should be seeing improved tools and service. The ePN Blog recently made this post.
“A lot has happened since we first launched eBay Partner Network on April 1st, 2008. From migration to the development of new tools and reports to our focus on quality traffic, we have appreciated your feedback through customer service, our boards, and in our personal interaction with many of you via e-mail and at conferences.
In an effort to get even more feedback from an even larger number of our publishers, we have started sending out the first ever eBay Partner Network Survey. If you receive an invitation email please take the time to participate. Your opinions are extremely valuable, and will help us to improve the eBay Partner Network platform, services, and program offerings.
Your responses are confidential and we will not ask for any personal information or login details to complete the survey.”
It took a year, but it would appear that eBay has figured out that we affiliates are important to their bottom line. After all when it comes to big business the bottom line is what they watch.
Ebay seems to be in flux. Over the last year their mission has gone from trying to be a retail site back to a focus on used items so it was announced a few weeks back. It’s hard to keep up with the constant changes. Those of us who do should reap the benefits.
