Six days from now The Powder Dog (Me, Bill) will be on a plane to Denver Colorado. Then to Beaver Creek / Avon. Beaver Creek is a elite ski resort that I will be teaching ski school. The World Cup is held at BC. I taught ski school when I was a teenager and will be glad to do it again. Skiing has been in my family since the 1940′s when my dad was in the military. He traveled Europe after ww2 and skied some premier mountain’s. My sister and brother in law have been instructors for 25+ years each. My brother is a 7 summits climber and has skied his entire life like the rest of us. And Ive been skiing 38 years.
Being able to control how and were you make a living is a amazing feeling. The power of freedom has to be the ultimate American Dream. By learning Internet Marketing and being able to make money at it is the catalyst for me being able to pick up and move for six months. Anyone can do this anywhere with the motivation. IM isnt easy. It take 100′s if not 1000′s of hours to learn and if you had zero computer skills when you start it’s lots harder. But with persistence and not letting setbacks get you down you to can make enough money to follow your dreams.
I am a absolute believer in using your personal interests and experiences to build content based sites. If you have a interest in something your ahead of the game. Write about were you are from and the best places to stay in your area or things to do. Creating the content is easy when you know what your talking about. Ive been training hard for my trip. During my training I ride my Mountain Bike through the woods for hours on end. So I went out and purchased a helmet camera that I will use to build a site about the Mountain biking and hiking trails in my area. There 100′s of miles of trails that people come from around the world to ride. When I started riding I found zero info about these trails on the Internet so it’s a perfect niche. I will also use footage I record in Colorado for my Ski & Snowboard site that Ive had for a couple years now. Adding relevant, unique, and Useful content for people wanting to ski the resorts I will being skiing this winter. I plan on skiing everyday at one of the resorts my pass will cover. Beaver Creek, Vail, Keystone, BreckenRidge, A-Basin, and Heavenly Valley in Lake Tahoe CA. Plus a possible side trip to Utah with my sister. Lots of content there wouldn’t you think. .
