Allegedly Phillip Markoff is The Craigslist Killer. Reports are appearing that state Markoff had mementos of the crimes in his home. Reports say that he had panties etc from his victims. He also had a gun hidden in a Greys Anatomy Medical Book.

With all the reports coming out about the crimes authorities have posted their own Craigslist ad. The advertisement asks other possible victims to come forward.

Police in Warwick Rhode Island have also said that they found Markoffs finger prints at a crime seen.

What does this have to do with Internet Marketing? Craigslist was a primary way of promoting websites for years. They put they brakes on affiliates promoting their sites, but haven’t really been able to enforce the ban on affiliates. Lots of people still promote sites and gather referrals.
