Promoting Products To Last Minute Holiday Shoppers

So Christmas is right around the corner. You may think it’s to late to make any money, but it’s not. Many Christmas shoppers wait until the last minute to shop including myself. Don’t fret their are a few ways to promote to last second gift buyers.

Try doing some keyword research for products then look through your affiliate networks for products. Once you find something use USFREEADS and point your links directly to the landing page of the merchant. You can also add a redirect in USFREEADS title without the consumer going to a page on your site. Make sure the merchant allows deep linking.

Next if you use ePN find sellers that offer next day and overnight shipping. Promote these sellers on blogs and websites that you have already established. Try creating a page with links to these sellers. ePN has introduced custom banner widget in which you can use advanced options to choose a specific seller.

Use Yahoo Answers to promote new & existing pages on your site. Use advance search in yahoo answers to find the most recently asked questions. Many buyers are asking where they can find Christmas and Holiday gift idea’s. Be sure to provide relevant authoritative responses and place your page link in the source box. Also make sure you send folks asking questions directly to a page with the product they are looking for. In other word don’t expect buyers to search your site. Put the gift idea right in front of their face. You need to provide buyers with what they are looking for and for you to plant your cookie.

Look through your affiliate networks and find merchants that have last minute shipping and promote the heck out of them. Send users to their landing pages for certain products. Avoid sending buyers through your site. Send them directly to the merchant. Use forums and blogs to do this. Don’t spam though.

Lastly don’t stop even on Christmas day. Lots of people get cash for Holiday Gifts and spend it Christmas Day. Last year I made more money in the days right after the holidays than before.
