2’300 acres over 13 of the steepest trails at Beaver Creek make up the Talons Challenge. This is so popular this year registration closed on Wednesday. Only 1’500 skiers are allowed to sign up, but you can ski all the trails and get credit for it by skiing them with a Ski School Instructor.
Beaver Creek’s legendary World Cup Birds of Prey downhill course, Grouse Mountain, and on the flanks of Larkspur Bowl. Conquer all 13 runs and earn your spot on the Talon’s Wall-of-Fame.
Starting at 12 noon the Apre party starts and continues at Beaver Creek Village after 4PM.
We have received about 6 inches of new snow over the last 24 hours and it continues to snow. All the fresh powder should soften all those killer car sized bumps. The Birds Of Prey Race Course as been groomed which should help out aswell.
